Here it goes. This blog is dedicated to the funny pictures, videos and quotes of our favorite hockey players. It's just starting out, so bear with me please. If you feel you have a funny picture/video/quote, and you would like to submit it, feel free.

And please, be polite. I know there are rivalries and not everyone likes every player in the NHL/AHL [I'm no exception] but let's be nice, okay?

None of these pictures belong to me, unless stated otherwise. If you submit anything, you will be given credit unless you say otherwise.

Kronwall helping Eaves off the ice, 3-19-11

Not the best quality video but it’s funny nontheless.

Niklas Kronwall of the Detroit Red Wings helping his teammate, Patrick Eaves, off the ice.

bloodbrawl:

The NHL team San Jose Sharks will play with “Lokomotiv” sticker on their helmets all 2011-12 season. R.I.P.

The Red Wings also have a tribute to the fallen players that were involved with their organization. All the players have their former(and possibly future) teammates initials on their arms. Jimmy Howard also paid tribute by requesting a last minute change to the backplate of his helmet.

4-0

I usually hate these “Nobody’s perf-” posts because I see them so often. But this one is funny as hell.

Johan Franzen of the Detroit Red Wings(being perfect) and Darroll Powe and Josh Harding of the Minnesota Wild.

This isn’t exactly lol-worthy, but I feel like posting this and it’s my blog, so if you don’t like it…get over it.
I’m posting this to appreciate the badasses that are in hockey. Sure it takes a lot to play, but there are some players that are just more intense than others.
This is Johan Franzen of the Detroit Red Wings. In his last game of the season against the Chicago Blackhawks, he got high sticked in the face and required stitches to close up the wound. Today, in a game against the Phoenix Coyotes, his head got hit into the boards, reopening the wound. He left the ice and was stitched back up only to return to the game in the second period(I think). When his coach, Mike Babcock, questioned him and asked why he had no protection (visor), he just shook his head saying he didn’t want any. He finished the game looking the way he does in the picture.
This, ladies and gentlemen, is a hockey player.
And for those mad that this isn’t funny, it kind of is if you look at the picture. Looks a bit like Frankenstein.
